Our church shows our love for Christ and our fellow man in a number of different ways. A significant number of our members are deeply involved in service to Lowville and Lewis County in their professional ministries as health workers, teachers, counselors, public servants, and businesses. They and other members also volunteer many hours to local volunteer organizations and activities.
As a congregation, we initiated the local Stone Soup program and host Stone Soup on the third Thursday of each month. In the summer, our Stone Soup Garden provides a large amount of produce for Stone Soup and the local food pantry. For one week in July, youth & adults from our congregation participate in the Delaware Work Camp, which carries out housing projects for needy families.

February and AugustOur turn to donate to the Local Food Pantry. Our congregation helps by donating food and personal hygiene items to support the local community.
Easter (March or April)One Great Hour of Sharing is collected Easter Sunday. 100% goes to Presbyterian-wide missions. 36% to Presbyterian Hunger Program, 32% to Self-Development of People, 32% to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
Pentecost (May or June)Pentecost Offering~Youth at Risk 100% goes to a local youth project. In the past monies have supported Vanderkamp, our Delaware Work Camp or to help send members of our youth to the Presbyterian Triennium. Session decides yearly how it is to be used.
AugustOur other month in which we give to the Local Food Pantry.
NovemberThanksgiving Baskets for Head Start Families We collect food to provide Thanksgiving Dinner, put it in a box with a turkey and Head Start delivers to families in need.
DecemberChristmas Joy Offering 50% goes to the Presbyterian Board of Pensions to provide assistance to retired clergy and spouses. 50% goes to support racial and ethnic educational opportunities through the General Assembly Council
Christmas Sharing We collect cereal and wrapping paper for the boxes. We collect hats and mittens and provide the names of children for our members and friends to give gifts.
Christmas Eve Offering-100% goes to the local Safe House. In past years we have given anywhere from $400.00to $700.00 to this most important local mission.
