Every February and August we ask for donations for our local Food Pantry. Pre-COVID-19, we would collect shelf stable items which we'd deliver to the pantry, for the past few years we've been collecting cash donations which our Lowville Food Pantry can use to purchase food through the Food Bank of Central New York .
November is Thanksgiving Time and we have made it an annual mission to provide Thanksgiving dinner to 12 Headstart Families. We ask for the donation of a $25 gift card from the end of October through Sunday before Thanksgiving, to either TOPS or WalMart with which the families can use to buy food for their holiday table.

Christmas Sharing Holiday Assistance is a cooperative of community organizations, social services agencies, houses of worship, local vendors, schools, families and individuals dedicated to helping the children of Lewis County. The Christmas Sharing volunteers do everything from purchasing gifts, sorting gifts, filling food boxes and doing everything possible to fulfill the “wish lists” of the children. Monetary donations to Christmas Sharing Holiday Assistance are used solely to purchase gifts, food and any supplies needed to box and package everything together for our families. We usually ask for cash donations from late November through the second week of December for this offering.
